The holders of the awards for staff members are known

The All-Star team of the EUHL and the holders of the individual awards were released last week. Staff members of the university teams got their awards too now. You will find out which categories were awarded and the names of the winners in the following article.

The management of the European University Hockey League awarded three individual trophies related to the season 2021/2022 during this week, specifically for the best team manager, coach, and for the development of the EUHL.

The best team manager award went to Katarzyna Kot from UHT Sabers Oswiecim.

The Polish team took the third position in the regular season while reaching 19 points in 12 games. Sabers eliminated Sapientia U23 in the quarterfinals of the playoffs, but its journey was stopped by UK Praha in the semi-finals.

The award for the best coach went to Branislav Janos from Gladiators Trencin.

Trencin was sovereign in both the regular season, and the playoffs. The first part of the season won eight points ahead of UK Praha. Gladiators did not lose any of the five matches on the way to the Sekeras trophy and deservedly won the whole competition.

The price for the development of the EUHL was awarded to Attila Nagy from Sapientia U23.

The Romanian participant finished the regular season in sixth place and was knocked out in the quarterfinals by Owiecim after losing 1:2 in the series. Sapientia importantly helped the university ice hockey during the interrupted last season of the EUHL by organizing the Sekler Cup.
