The awards ceremony took place in Oswiecim

There was an official closure of the season 2021/2022 on Friday 20th of May in polish Oswiecim. Representatives of almost all teams and many interesting guests participated in the ceremony. They were witnesses of awarding the individual trophies for the last season and the home team ceremony for the third place.

It was the first season in the EUHL for UHT Sabers Oswiecim. The team was doing well and finished in third place. The finalists of the playoffs received their trophies and medals right after the last match, therefore, the polish city was chosen as a place for the ceremony. Sabers got the trophy and medals and all individual awards were given too.

The best coach: Janos Branislav (Gladiators Trencin)

The best manager: Katarzyna Kot (UHT Sabers Oswiecim)

The price for the development of the EUHL: Attila Nagy (Sapientia U23)

The representatives from almost all teams participated in the action. The part of the program was speeches from the mayor and the regional chairman of Oswiecim, the rector of the university, and representatives of the EUHL. The managing authority of the competition and the home club also presented videos of their organizations. The discussion between all representatives about the development of the EUHL and strategic steps followed after the end of the official part of the ceremony. There were also people from the universities in Gdansk, Bytom, Janow, and Kosice who are considering their participation in the EUHL.
