Sapientia on a 4-game trip to Slovakia

The Sapientia U23 Team has completed the first 4 games of the current season of the European University Hockey League. As part of the difficult trip, the Romanian team had four games in five days.

They started the first duel successfully against the opponent HC UNIZA Žilina and won 8:1. Coach Lundell’s men had the day off on Thursday. The rematch took place on Friday. Team Sapientia U23 won on the ice in Žilina with a result of 6:2. The Romanian team arrived in Trenčín over the weekend. In the first match, the Romanians did better, winning 6:2 over Trenčín. Gladiators Trenčín won the last match of this trip. Very balanced game took place at a high pace and finally ended with the victory of the university team from Trenčín 5:2.

Goalkeepers (saves percentage): Ševčík 91.7%, Cagáň 76.2% – Bíró 91.7%

 

Gladiators Trenčín – SAPIENTIA U23 2:6 (0:2, 1:3, 1:1)

SAPIENTIA U23 – Gladiators Trenčín 2:5 (1:0, 0:1, 1:4)
