Małopolska Winter Cup II – University Ice Hockey Challenge (press note)

We cordially invite all hockey lovers to an extraordinary event that will take place at the MOSiR Ice Arena in Oświęcim, Poland, on December 13th-15th, 2023.

This three-day ice hockey celebration promises an unforgettable dose of emotions and spectacular sports rivalry. The main point of the program will be an international university hockey tournament called „Małopolska Winter Cup II University Ice Hockey Challenge“, whose titular partner is the Małopolska Voivodeship. Teams from Slovakia (Gladiators Trenčín, Philosophers Nitra, UMB Hockey Team Banská Bystrica) and one from Poland (UHT Sabers Oświęcim) will compete against each other here.

This wonderful sports spectacle will bring together university teams from different regions, creating a unique mixture of skills, passion and fierce competition. „Małopolska Winter Cup II“ is not just sports, but also an opportunity to integrate the academic community, exchange experiences and make new friends. During the tournament, an outdoor family picnic area will be open simultaneously. Surrounded by winter scenery, you will be able to enjoy music, hot drinks, sausages and traditional Polish cuisine.

There are competitions and attractions for the youngest and slightly older ones.
